Josh Duggar is reportedly calling out his parents for the part he claims they play in his conviction on child pornography charges.
The former reality star sent a series of angry text messages to both Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar recently obtained by People Magazine.
“[I] am very disappointed. I feel like you just don’t receive criticism or take admission for your own actions THAT HAVE DIRECTLY AFFECTED (sic) MY LIFE, including in this situation,” Josh wrote in a message sent a little over a week after he was sentenced.
The now 38-year-old was sentenced to 151 months in prison following his conviction for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse materials.
In multiple messages to Michele he said he was “innocent” and accused another man who worked with him at the used car dealership of downloading the material to his computer.
In the message sent after his sentencing, he wrote in all caps, “I AM NOT BLAMING YOUR FOR THE SITUATION, BUT YOU ARE BLAMING ME – AND YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW THE TRUTH – YOU SAID THAT YOURSELF TODAY.”
